I’ve always been drawn to making art in some way or another. Whether it was designing earrings, dabbling in graphic design, thrift flipping (that was short-lived), or always being that person with the camera in hand. There was something about creating out of nothing that always allured me. But instead of pursuing a career in photography, I took the practical route. I studied marketing and went on to work at a nonprofit. While I found myself in the field building relationships, that element of creativity was missing. It all fell into place when I picked my camera back up. It quickly became the perfect medium to connect with others while creating art. 

It’s those unplanned, real moments that get me every time that make a photo a photograph, a memory you can feel, never forgotten. So, whether we’re at a stretch of coastline somewhere on the East Coast, a blooming courtyard in Tulum, or a hotel property, count me in with my camera at the ready and a sense of ease that feels like you’re with a friend you’ve known for years.
